This week is the first official week that Connie Bottinelli as Executive Producer, and Darren Dodge as Associate Producer. They will be joining the award winning team of Karlina Lyons, and Wanda & Marc Dole and all the great people that have helped get us this far.
We are looking for people with marketing experience and for people to research into everything from potential corporate sponsors to current medical information on Mitochondrial disease.
We are also looking for people without marketing experience but have the drive to help us get this project in the public eye.
Mito-Kids works with the local non-profit Annie’s Angels to raise funds that will help alleviate the costs of production. We are in the process of setting up an LLC for potential investors as we develop this groundbreaking film.

Please let us know if you are interested and if you are available to attend. if you are interested but cannot attend please email us your skype or other IM name and we will try and do a live stream of the meeting.

I don’t have the markting exprience I would like yet, but I am very intersted in helping promote great films I have attended. Yours film is one of them. This is information people need to have and you did such a good job with the film which I saw during NHFF. So I would like to do what I can to help you out. I was going to volunteer at the Music Hall on Sat. 2-6(if that is the Sat. you mean), but if they have enough people I’m sure they would encourage me to attend your meeting to see what I can do to help.
I frequently go to the Cape Ann Community Cinema in Gloucester, so I have become acquainted with the founder, Rob Newton, who is always looking for good human interest documentaries and loves to have the directors attend for Q & A after. He has, at times, provided lodging for directors, etc.; but his funds are limited as he is just gotten this cinema up and running in the past 1 1/2 years. George Kachadorian did a screening with Q & A following “Shooting Beauty” and he loved it down there. He is actually thinking of doing something again in the fall. I would love to see us get together a mini film fest with these heart-warming, insightful films that help people understand each other better. I envision a title “Discover the Possibilities” or something like that. Some other films I have found very informative and uplifting are: “Including Samuel”; “Lucky’; “Life, Support, Music”; Under Our Skin”; “NKM2: No Kidding, Me Too!” and “Euphoria”.
I am going to the Salem Film Fest at the end of Feb. which is being considered an all documentary film fest I think, so it should be interest to see what they got. It was fabulous last year, so I am really looking forward to going.
Let me know if you are planning on meeting this Sat., Feb.6th or another day and if you have any tasks or promotions where you might need me.
Hope to hear soon,
Laura Ball
